Providing Grief & Loss Counselling to Greater Lincolnshire & North Nottinghamshire

We are a person-centred practice. Our counsellors have lots of other experience within counselling and undertake regular training, so for example, some can combine other modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy alongside their person-centred work. Others take an integrative approach. We will match you to the counsellor best placed to support you.

If you have an urgent need we will try to see you as quickly as possible. If you are being seen by a volunteer the wait maybe up to 12 weeks. We have a shorter waiting list for those people that pay £35.00 per session this is because this work is not undertaken by volunteers, how we prioritise our clients and manage our waiting lists can be found here

No, the act of donation is entirely voluntary, however, without donations we cannot continue our work. It is expensive for us to fundraise, so the more help we get from clients the easier it is for us to continue counselling. Each session of counselling costs our Charity £55.00.

In the UK the average cost varies from £50-£80, it costs us £55.00 per session. We currently provide counselling subsidised and cover much of the cost from charitable grants and donations. We charge a nominal sum per session up to £35.00. See charges above for more details, or contact us.

You can make a referral by completing our online form which can be found on either the adult page or children’s page of this website. If you have difficulties completing the form please telephone us on 01522 546168, professionals must complete the CYP form in full.

That decision is between yourself and your counsellor depending on your clinical needs. Cost is big factor for many people, we attempt to help you resolve your difficulties in around 6 sessions. On average adults have 6-10 sessions with us while children have 4-6.

We can be found above the Coop Foodstore, our entrance can be found next to a metal gate alongside the tanning salon. You can park at the Carlton Centre for free, parking is available in the main car park at the front of the Centre, elsewhere you may receive a penalty charge notice.

If you rent a room from us that will exceed the 3-hours parking limit we will provide you with a free of charge car park permit which is returnable.
