The Board of Directors

LCGL Counselling and Training Services is an independent charitable organisation governed by a Board of Directors who possess a wealth of experience in a variety of sectors.

Revd. Barbara Hutchinson

Chairperson

Barbara is an ordained local minister for the Church of England and is therefore involved with Lincolnshire communities regularly visiting local schools. She has spent 10 years working for local post offices and now works as hospital chaplain at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. Barabara has been on the Board of LCGL since 2009 and is currently serving as the Chairperson.

David Dernley

Director and Trustee

David is employed by Lincolnshire Co-op as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Head of Funeral Services. He is proud to have been a director of LCGL since its inception in 2002. His entire working life so far has been spent within the funeral profession - from operational roles through to senior management. His responsibilities as a Director of LCGL include being the main contact point between the Board and the Administration / Clinical team.

Claudia Nel

Director

Claudia Nel is a solicitor with over 25 years of experience. She currently sits as a school governor and was previously a director of the Hoffmann Foundation for Autism.
She was appointed to the Board of LCGL in 2018
